CONFERENCE TRACK: Best Practice Case Studies

Odette manages the Program and Events unit for the Department of Education, Queensland.  Leading a highly skilled team of professionals, she oversees a broad range of state-wide programs and associated events for the Minister for Education. Her team punch well above their weight, being named Queensland best events team eight years running, as well as being honoured with three national MEA Awards.

She has worked in both state and federal government agencies in Queensland and Victoria having started her events career in Protocol Queensland where she supported the planning and coordination of many international VIPs to Queensland including the visit by US President Bill Clinton in 1996. With event concepts continuously evolving and business partnership expectations always broadening, Odette is proud of what her team consistently produce for government and private sector clients.
