Kristian has been at the heart of Sydney’s global meetings industry for over 20 years. Currently the General Manager – Bidding for BESydney, Sydney’s specialist bidding services organisation, he is passionate about positioning Sydney on the global stage. As the head of a truly global and diverse team, Kristian’s international experience gives him the competitive edge.

Playing to Sydney’s strengths as a city of collaboration and innovation, Kristian leads BESydney’s focus on connectivity to foster strong relationships with the private and public sectors to shape unforgettable outcomes for clients, their delegates, and Sydney and New South Wales. This unique alchemy creates success as the city welcomes the world’s most significant and influential global meetings, such as Sibos, which returned for a third time to the Harbour City in 2018.

Beyond his role at BESydney, Kristian is a Graduate of the AICD, Deputy Chair of the Torrens University Australia Hospitality Advisory Board, and a Member of the Committee for Sydney’s Talent Hub Advisory Committee.
